John W. Kluksdal, Attorney at Law

John Kluksdal has been with the firm since 2001.  He has extensive trial experience in complex cases involving multiple plaintiffs and defendants in civil litigation.  Mr. Kluksdal's expertise focuses on representing individuals in negligence and malpractice actions, as well as employees in wrongful termination and breach of contract cases.  Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Kluksdal worked in the U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of Idaho and a large firm in Idaho, dealing with a variety of civil litigation.  Mr. Kluksdal also specializes in appellate work which was supplemented by his experience as a law clerk for Chief Judge Darrel Perry of the Idaho Court of Appeals directly after graduating from law school.

 

Mr. Kluksdal is a member of the Idaho State Bar and is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in Idaho, as well as the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. His other professional associations include the American Inn of Court No. 130 and the Idaho Trial Lawyers Association. Mr. Kluksdal is very involved with his undergraduate Alma Mater, Albertson College of Idaho, and has served on the Albertson College Alumni Board. 

Mr. Kluksdal graduated magna cum laude from the University of Idaho, College of Law in 1997. During law school, he worked in the University's Legal Aid Clinic, was a tutor for first-year law students, and was a member of the Board of Student Advocates. Mr. Kluksdal received his undergraduate degree in History from Albertson College of Idaho, cum laude with a minor in Sociology/Anthropology. He also received his State of Idaho Secondary Teaching Certificate.

 

Mr. Kluksdal enjoys participating in city league sports, a variety of outdoor activities, and spending time with his family.  He is very involved in his community and likes to spend his spare time contributing back to the community by coaching children's sports and other charitable activities.
